The West Virginia Family Resource Networks are organizations that respond to the needs and opportunities of the community. Partnering with community members and public and private organizations, the WVFRN members develop innovative projects and provide needed resources for their local areas.
At Wirt County Family Resource Network/Family Support Center, we take a holistic approach to community support. We believe that in order to truly support individuals and families, we must address all aspects of their lives, including physical health, mental health, and social support.
We work closely with a variety of community partners to ensure that we are meeting the needs of everyone in our community. The Wirt County Family Resources office, in partnership with Wellpoint, is offering a 4 week Diabetes Education and Empowerment Program in the office. The classes will be facilitated by Rachel Dickel, Wellpoint Social Determinants of Health Educator. Call the Office at 304-275-4833 to register!

The Wirt County Strength in Stories Book Club will meet Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 4 pm to 5 pm at Dora B. Woodyard Memorial Library. Wirt County Residents ages 14-22 are invited to attend!
