The West Virginia Family Resource Networks are organizations that respond to the needs and opportunities of the community. Partnering with community members and public and private organizations, the WVFRN members develop innovative projects and provide needed resources for their local areas.
At Wirt County Family Resource Network/Family Support Center, we take a holistic approach to community support. We believe that in order to truly support individuals and families, we must address all aspects of their lives, including physical health, mental health, and social support.
We work closely with a variety of community partners to ensure that we are meeting the needs of everyone in our community. The Wirt County Family Resources Office has partnered with Legal Aid to host this free in-person clinic to receive legal help from skilled attorneys to create a simple will. Appointments are limited and available on first come first served basis. Call 304-485-7522 ext. 2914 to register. Open to Wirt and surrounding counties.
Project AWARE and Coplin Health Systems have partnered to bring you a Gingerbread House Decorating night on December 12, 2024 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm in the Coplin Health Systems Conference Room.
The Wirt County Family Resources Office has partnered with Rossworks and the WIOA program and is serving as an official drop-off location for their new Attire for Hire program. Donations of gently used interview/work clothing, shoes/boots, hygiene products, and scrubs are being accepted to help us break barriers and assist people entering the workplace.
